Devoted in Ministry

Pastor Jim Montieth and wife Tamara

Pastor J.D. Montieth is a non-conformist author, preacher, and teacher whose works are deeply rooted in his faith in and love for scripture. Being devoted in ministry for over forty years now, he brings a prolific wealth of understanding of God’s Word and practical experience in genuinely loving the Lord. His sermons and writings are most known for combining in-depth teaching with impactful preaching that emphasizes every Christian personally applying the Word of God to his or her life.

An Accomplished Author

Jim has authored three substantial biblical books, including I Repent in Dust and Ashes, a study of the book of Job; The Dead Shall Rise, a study of First and Second Thessalonians; and Born of God, a study of First John. All Montieth’s books have been written using the biblical principle of “in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established,” wherein points are heavily supported by scripture as well as commentaries by established men of faith. Jim is in the process of writing an exposition on the book of Ephesians titled To the Praise of the Glory of His Grace and then will subsequently begin a work titled My Lord, my God, which will be a study of Who Christ is and what He demands.
