Sporting Competition
2026
The children were divided into three houses— the House of Jim, the House of Tamara, and the House of Brett— for the school’s annual athletics sports meet.
Each event has a scoring system to grade the performance of the athletes who place first, second, and third. These scores are compiled to determine the overall winner.
This year, the House of Brett came in first, the House of Jim came in second, and the House of Tamara came in third.
Best Dressed African King & Queen Competition 2026
The children were divided into three houses: the House of Jim, the House of Tamara, and the House of Brett. They competed for the title of Best Dressed African Queen or King. The child who most clearly represents the cultural identity of a true African Queen or King was crowned the winner.
The children’s parents came in large numbers to support those who competed. The amount of money each child raised was also taken into consideration when selecting the winner.
This competition is a way for the present generation to value and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of their forefathers.
